Govt denied Rajan’s formula for surplus transfer: Ex-RBI Deputy Guv
R Gandhi, the former Deputy Governor of RBI, said that four years ago the government rejected then RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan’s suggested formula to form the basis for surplus fund transfer to the government. He said that the government was not ready to accept the formula at the time. “Today the government is demanding the same,” he added.
