Don’t cross your limits: Pak batsman tells anchor over ‘son’ remark

Pakistan batsman Babar Azam asked sports presenter Zainab Abbas to not cross her limits over her tweet congratulating the batsman for his century. “Well played @babarazam258 – loved how the boys went congratulating Mickey Arthur celebrating his “son’s” century #PakvNZ,” Zainab had tweeted. Azam apparently didn’t like the word ‘son’ as it suggested he gets special treatment from coach Arthur.

Babar, who has had a sensational start to his ODI career slamming eight hundreds in 54 matches, managed eight fifties and no hundreds in his first 16 Tests. However, Arthur’s confidence and backing bore fruit as Babar hit his first Test hundred in an important match for Pakistan.

While many Pakistani fans celebrated the occassion with warm messages on Twitter, Babar took exception to anchor Zainab Abbas’s tweet.
